Abstract

Education funds derived from student participation is one of the main sources of funding education in private universities. Utilization of education funds for the benefit of students will be determined by sound financial management and planning. Therefore the government or private college managers constantly strive to provide guidance and clear rules relating to the management of education funds, the rules embodied in the form of financial management policies.This study aims to explore, uncover and analyze the effect of the influence of the implementation of financial management policies of private colleges to financial management in an effort to increase the participation of students in education funds paid in STIKes Karsa Husada Garut Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method descriptive analysis. The study population comprised 380 people, on board of trustees, staff employees of finance department and students batch from 2018 to 2020 in STIKes Karsa Husada. While the samples in this study were 80 people who were taken on the basis of stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are documentation studies, field studies and questionnaires. While the technical analysis of the data used is the statistical analysis with path analysis method. The results showed that the implementation of the policy variables private university financial management, financial management and student participation in education funds paid to show both criteria. Hypothesis testing results show that the implementation of financial management policies have a positive influence on financial management; financial management policies have a positive influence on student participation in education funds paid; financial management has a positive influence on student participation in education funds paid, and the general implementation of financial management policies have a positive impact on improving financial management in education funds to pay student participation. Some of the findings of key issues relating to financial management on variables related to financial management budget planning, and in the student participation variable occurs in the low level to pay education funding on time.
